Nestlé Recalls Toll House Cookie Dough Bars Due to Possible Wood Fragment Contamination

Nestlé has issued a recall for its Toll House Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Bar after discovering that the snacks may contain wood fragments.

The recall, which was announced by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) on Thursday, specifically applies to two batches of the Toll House Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough “break and bake” Bar that were produced on April 24 and 25.

Although the FDA has not received any reports of illnesses or deaths associated with the product, it has decided to recall it “out of an abundance of caution” following a few consumer complaints.
